Dive into a beautiful blue world with our cyanotype kit. Learn one of the world's oldest photographic techniques: cyanotype, also known as blue printing and sun printing. The process is as easy as it is fascinating. First take the two bottles of iron salts (ammonium iron citrate and potassium ferricyanide) – mix them with water – and leave them for 24 hours before use. This creates a light-sensitive fluid that you can activate with the power from the sun. Try it on paper, fabric or an egg. The covered areas remain chalky white while the sun’s rays transform the exposed parts into deep blue images. Remember to use the gloves provided and maybe also glasses because the liquid can irritate eyes and skin .

Use nature as a source of inspiration and find leaves and flowers for making creative prints. You can also make your own designs using stencils and stickers.
